Fluorescence Emission micro ct

The InSyTe FLECT/CT is a dual-modality, preclinical molecular imaging platform that combines complete angle fluorescence tomography with X-ray CT. Fluorescence Emission Computed Tomography (FLECT) is the optical analog to PET/SPECT.

Fluorescence data is acquired in two modes; 2D reflectance or in 360° (complete angle), acquiring optical images with InSyTe FLECT/CT. The system is optimized for detection of near infrared (NIR) fluorescence to enable deep tissue imaging capability in vivo and offers excellent compatibility with a wide variety of commercially available NIR-labelled probes and fluorescent dyes, allowing for investigation of a broad spectrum of research areas. Combined with the inline X-ray CT subsystem, the InSyTe FLECT/CT performs noninvasive, radioisotope-free, 3D tomographic imaging with anatomical reference and is easily installed in a standard research laboratory or preclinical imaging facility.

The standalone InSyTe CT is a Micro CT system in benchtop format. It is identical to the CT subsystem in InSyTe FLECT/CT, meaning that the InSyTe CT can be upgraded to FLECT/CT later on. InSyTe CT offers clinical quality soft tissue contrast and high resolution in an easy to use package. It is equipped with several X-ray filters for beam hardening reduction and other CT imaging applications. 

With a variable X-ray tube energy range between 30-50 keV, variable exposure time and applied tube current, InSyTe CT is suitable for a wide variety of CT imaging applications, including soft tissue imaging, contrast enhanced CT, bone imaging, etc.
